Each year, the Mississippi Egg Marketing Board partners with the Mississippi Poultry Association to host the Legislative Luncheon. During the event, Chef Deborah Hunter gives a live omelet cooking demonstration before legislators team up with students from the Mississippi Agriculture Youth Council for a fun and interactive omelet cooking competition. The event highlights Mississippi’s poultry and egg industry while fostering connections between agriculture leaders, students, and state legislators.
