Each year, the Mississippi Egg Marketing Board partners with The Mustard Seed to sponsor a dozen eggs where the Seedsters showcase their creativity by painting decorative eggs based on a unique annual theme. The finished eggs are then presented to the First Lady at the Governor’s Mansion. Over the years, themes have included “America250” in honor of America’s 250th anniversary, “Mississippi Events and Festivals,” “Mississippi Creatures, Big and Small,” “Landmarks in Mississippi,” and many more. This special partnership celebrates creativity, community, and Mississippi pride.
